I keep only essential information that is required for client care and treatment. I keep records for all Metta Therapy clients and for those who ask me for professional advice or services.
Information about you will be recorded, in either paper and/or electronic format(s). I will protect your personal information by taking reasonable security safeguards against loss or theft, unauthorised access, disclosure, copying, use or modification.
At no time will your email address or contact details be given to any third party.
I never send unsolicited commercial email (SPAM) to any clients using their email address.
Clients shall at no time record sessions (in full or in part) and/or display confidential information on publicly accessible sites, where 100% privacy cannot be guaranteed.

To ensure continued best practice, I receive regular Clinical and/or Group Supervision for my work with clients. During supervision it is necessary and useful to review client treatment and progress. This supports me to continue to work with clients effectively and maintain a clear focus on therapeutic goals and aims for clients.
Any reference to a client which would easily identify them will not be disclosed, to provide anonymity and preserve client confidentiality. Any publications, articles or research which I may undertake may reference elements or themes of my work with clients. Again, client anonymity and client confidentiality are assured. Any information which could allow you to be identified will be removed and/or changed.
In the possible event we may see, meet or pass by each other, out with Metta Therapy service sessions, in a public space or at a social event or meeting, I will not directly acknowledge or seek out contact or conversation with you. This is not intended to be rude or indicate a lack of interest in you; rather it is to always preserve and protect your confidentiality.
As a client you always have the right to confidentiality and anonymity. If, however you wish to acknowledge me in such circumstance, I will follow your lead and will respond and acknowledge you and welcome such contact if it was to occur, out with sessions.
