To get the most out of any Metta Therapy service and to meet your therapeutic goals and aims, commitment is needed from both therapist and client.
As the client, when you agree to engage in a course of therapy, you also agree to engage with the therapeutic process in session(s) and between session(s).
This may involve practicing tools and techniques and/or completing therapeutic tasks which are identified and agreed upon between sessions, such as: mindfulness exercises and thought experiments, conscious breathing exercises, journalling, compassionate inner dialogue exercises, anchoring and grounding practices, ‘emotionalisation’ exercises, parts integration exercises, noticing thoughts and feelings etc. etc.
For Clinical Hypnosis sessions, it is a requirement that recordings which are given to you are listened to for the recommended number of times to help you reprogramme your subconscious mind.
Please note results may vary from person to person. You agree that the therapist cannot be held responsible should you as the client not use the tools, techniques and practices which you will be given.
The Initial Consultation is free and will last 15 to 30 minutes. This can be in person, by video call or by a simple phone call, depending on client preference.
The First Session will last up to 90 minutes and is £65.
All further Sessions last up to 60 minutes and are £65.
Fees are payable at time of booking or no less than 24 hours before a booked session. Fees may be subject to change from time to time. Any changes to fees will be advised before they are implemented.
By engaging in a course of therapy, you accept that I cannot guarantee the therapeutic outcome as client motivation and willingness to carry out therapeutic tasks and/or listen to recordings of Clinical Hypnosis sessions, is the responsibility of the client. Fees are payable in consideration of my time and expertise, regardless of the outcome.
You commit to attend the Session(s) booked because:
• Your attendance at the Session is part of your commitment to the on-going therapy.
• If you do not cancel in a reasonable time then you may have inadvertently prevented someone else having that session day/time.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations should be made at least 24 hours ahead of the agreed appointment time by telephone, text or email. If an appointment is cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or you fail to attend for a booked session, then the full session fee will apply.
A full refund will be issued if 24 hours’ notice is provided. Alternatively, another session can be arranged if that is your preference.
If in the event Metta Therapy cancels a session a full refund will be made. Alternatively, another booking can be arranged if that is your preference.
Arriving Late for an Appointment
If you arrive later than planned for a session, I will do my best to make a full session available to you. However, this may not be possible if there are other appointments scheduled after yours. If your session needs to be less than the expected length of time due to late arrival, then the full session fee remains applicable.
